You can call me Al if you want. I think that's fun. I love food, and cooking, and that's pretty much why I'm here! I sometimes suck at it but other times I think god himself must have intervened and made everything AWESOME!
My first ever attempt at an apple pie looked like barf, and I burned the crust so bad :'(. It was a pool of apples and the whole thing was soggy and inedible. Mum said it was my fault but it was her stupid recipe. Every recipe I have seen since says to cook the apples first! Look at the awful

Looking forward to learning and sharing some tips, and don't let that pie fool you - that pie was over 10 years ago and I have improved a lot since. In fact, maybe I should make another to see if that's true! Ha ha
