With us going long-haul for our holiday there was plenty of choice regarding entertainment.
However, we both commented on the amount of violent films, I know they were made for cinema and have been watched by many. A lot of passengers were watching these films and I find it difficult to understand why anyone would want to watch them. People beating 7 shades out of each other, over exaggerated CGI creatures fighting each other and with humans, everyone and thing flying through the air and landing on both feet-no damage done, buildings crashing down, utter violence and destruction.
Yes they are just films, no I don't expect all films to be light and fluffy but is such intense violence really necessary?
