Kitchen towel stains

I just remembered my casual friend in the street. She sells newspapers and towelettes right in the main intersection here. Since I was a regular buyer of newspaper, she got to know me. And during occasions, I would gift her with something or sometimes money. In return, she would give me some towelettes and pot holders. So I don't buy kitchen towels anymore. However, I have not seen her lately so I am quite worried.
 
I had stocks of kitchen towels in hand. When one get stained or dirty quickly I soak it at once in water with laundry soap powder and vinegar overnight and wash it the next morning and it really works out fine. I do not use a bleaching solution because I do avoid chemicals and it is not safe to use and is bad for our health.
 
I used to wash my kitchen towels after soaking them in hot water for sometime. But I realised that they still stained. I later started to bleach them once a while. They are now very clean with no stains.
