Lettuce recipes

I bought a bunch of lettuce yesterday because a vendor was selling them at a really low price in front of our office. I love lettuce when I use them in salads. However, I was hoping that there might be other recipes that I can do using lettuce. Anybody here can suggest something? Thanks!

Well, I do not buy lettuce on a regular basis since it is not one of my favourite vegetables. However, whenever I do use lettuce, it is usually by itself, when I would wash it off and eat it with the meal just as it is. The only other way I have used lettuce is in a salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage and the like. I cannot think of any other recipes right now where lettuce could be utilized.

I am certain I have heard of a recipe that used lettuce in a soup.... shall see if I can find it.

Lettuce soup? Thanks for this! I will also look for this recipe if it exists. If it doesn't, I would just invent it! :P
