Mesquite Powder

I was wondering if anyone had any information or recipes for uses of mesquite powder. It is not common in the UK and I haven't come across it before and am not sure how to use it!

My first thought, upon seeing your signature and taking it into consideration, SatNav/Callisto/whatever you wish to be called, is Portabello burgers. I see mesquite and I think of barbecue or something. I've honestly never worked with mesquite powder either but I know it's usually used in things like barbecue sauce. Maybe some grilled veggies in that sauce?
