ingredients

1 butternut squash
2. Oil
3. ras el hanout spice blend (recipe above)
4. Kosher salt

Peel and cube squash. Add oil, choice blend. Roast for 45 minutes at 450 or until you achieve the desired texture.

Good, good! Nice and simple too once the ras-el-hanout is made. I think that roasting butternut squash is the best way to go - it brings out the sweetness but tempers it with the toasted taste.

They paired perfectly together. The squash was crispy on the outside and tender and delicious on the inside.
