Oh yes, mulled wine and gluhwein are great at this time of year, particularly if you have them outdoors while visiting a Christmas market or similar.

Yes - I enjoy any type of sweet wine.
The wine I don't care for is the bitter kind. The only way I can comfortably drink bitter wine is if it offsets a delicious meal. Then, I still secretly wish this wine was sweet.
Have a fancy cup of mulled wine (on me)!

I actually only tried mulled wine for the first time this year. It was okay - I neither liked it nor disliked it. I did think, however, that the spices didn't really go that well with the wine, a the grape flavour was a bit too overpowering. I also tried mulled cider a few weeks ago though, and it was much nicer - the apple provided a really nice base for the spices, and it was delicious!
