I'm in the mood right now to make pancakes, but checked my pantry and realized that I don't even have eggs or baking powder. Can I still make pancakes with just flour, milk, water, salt and sugar? Do you guys have any recipes?

Yep - you can, but it depends on which type of pancakes you want to make - small, thick, American pancakes could be an issue. UK pancakes style pancakes which are much larger and thinner won't be a problem.

just leave out the eggs and use a touch more milk for the UK style pancakes.

Otherwise, if you have bicarbonate of soda and cream of tartar available, then you have your baking powder (use 1tbsp of bicarb of soda to 2 tbsp. of cream of tartar), eggs are not essential, so you may be able to make US style pancakes that way.

Thank you so much! I will give it a try and see how it goes.
