I dont know if other countries do this.
My wife decided to do a pink ribbon brekky. $25 a head.. they used the boarding house dining room. Food was donated with 50 people going 2 days ago.
With raffles and a silent auction.
They raised just under 3k. I made a donation of $50 that I talked with JAS_OH1 about.
They are getting a cheque to present to the cancer society.
Ill.post if it's in the local rag.
She was knackered that night.

That’s pretty cool, good on you both!

In town here, we have something sort of like that. It’s a drive-up with volunteers handing out a coffee and a breakfast sandwich or a doughnut, or a breakfast burrito, for a small fee and it goes to breast cancer research.

Well done, Russ.
When my son played Pee Wee rugby and Little League baseball, we used to have "pink" nights where a percentage of the food sales from the food stands along with additional donations went to breast cancer research. The kids got to wear a pink item of their uniform, usually socks, for a small donation from their parents as well.
It was a good way to shame the tightwads into donating if their kid was on the field in regular kit.
