Currently the cooking instructions are not working. They're all still 1 solid block of rice

The auto auction started back up yesterday so not nearly the press to sell lunches. The auction has been shut down for a year, expansion project, now it's easily twice as big. We drove 400 cars through and it took 7.5 hours. Double the time we were making last year! 👍 So, since I have to go to town for a pickup order I'll drop the GG's a Thursday lunch menu.

Today:
DH's pedicure (I do it myself)
Deep condition my hair
Laundry
Have an appointment with mom's bank that holds her Trust checking and savings, finally have all the documents I need sighed and notarized, fingers crossed I can now get access to that and pay her bills, been getting notice after notice to pay now ... geez!
DH & I are going out to supper after our bank appointment (and since when do you have make an appointment to do business at the bank?!)

Barriehie RIGHT?!
I can't wait to be done with this bank and close her accounts.
Next on my playlist : dealing with her investments that are also in Trust and proving to be an even bigger PITA!!!
I've got a brick and mortar one for all that but day to day is an online one with an app. 👍

Mom did too, but the thing is because everything is within that Trust, I can't touch anything, until I can give them proof from not only myself, but *bleep* ing sister in Oklahoma as well.
I started this process as soon as we got back from Hawaii OVER A MONTH AGO!
*sigh*

I guess I should be happy that my dad passed away at 94 leaving juuust enough money for my mom to live out her life to 99. Actually, there was a good chunk of credit card debt leftover from when mom started getting dimensia. . My brother, the eldest and executor, wanted us all to chip in $10k each to settle the debts. The 5 of us younger siblings almost went to his funeral after he suggested we pay off the credit cards.

Anyway, I got up early, fixed my air compressor gun, checked/filled/calibrated the tires, set up the garden hoses in front and back with new hose washers and plumbers tape on the bibs, cleaned the bird cages, and now time for a break before work again.

I just got up, gotta pick weeds in the big tree/mulch bed in the front with my Grandpa Weeder tool. I stopped using glysophate many years ago when I read the warning on the label about not using it near aquatic or semi-aquatic animals. WE come from semi-aquatic animals, so I figured it wouldn't be good for us, either. Now there's loads of lawsuits about it causing cancer.
Then I'm back into work.
It never ends.

A couple of days ago, I had to use about a gallon of weed killer on my back fence area. I have a wicked weed problem that returns with a vengeance every year along that fenceline. A few years ago, I paid to have it professionally taken care of, and it still keeps coming back.
