Poinsettia Advice Required

At Christmas I bought a pink poinsettia, it is still going and growing new shoots. I would really like to try and grow new plants from the cuttings, tried once and failed but would like to try again.
Any ideas?

Poinsettia is known as the Xmas plant over here because there are thousands of the in the streets, usually at exorbitant prices.
If you're going to take some cuttings, get hold of some rooting powder. That usually works. Spray with vitamins regularly as well; poinsettia are notorious for dropping dead at the end of April.

Move to the tropics

Probably better during the spring or summer when get gets warmer and lighter. Some plants are also day length sensitive (don't know about poinsettias) particularly if they're greenhouse grown for out of season/out of locale markets
