So, for Valentine's Day, I wanted to make a special dinner. Lobster isn't something I've had much practice making, but I started reading about it. While many ideas were to steam or boil it, I found several posts that said do not use water to cook it, and that doing so cooks out all the flavor. That made sense to me, so I found directions for how to prep it, "piggyback" it on the shell (which was actually pretty simple), and then I broiled it.

I set the broiler to low, and just kept checking on it, judging by it's appearance. Once it looked completely opaque, I gave it another 30 seconds or so under the broiler. It was quite good. I will never boil lobster again. The difference in flavor was huge.
