Recipes for okra beans

I am a big fan of okra beans, but unfortunately my partner doesn't share this passion with me. He tells me that they are too "slimy" and, apparently, the seeds taste "weird". So every time I use this wonderful vegetable, I have to cook in two different pots, as my boyfriend can even detect the slightest hint of okra, even if it's only a single seed.
I like it in stir-fries, soups and even by itself, topped with a nice turmeric sauce. Do you have any good okra recipes?

I love okra beans and when I eat this kind of vegetable I just only steam it and then dip it in soy sauce and lemon mixture.
