Salmon: do you like or dislike it?

Sorry Puggles but I find that salmon seems to have too strong a fishy taste or something, I don't know it is like duck or venison - just a bit too strong a taste for my pallet

You haven't had fresh good salmon, apparently.

I don't know @JAS-OH1 but the salmon I did have was very oily with a very strong taste to it .... turned me off salmon for good.

Yup. Not fresh--any fish--can do that.

What I had was supposed to be fresh caught Atlantic Salmon - but that was ages ago, I think NOAH served me ???

Atlantic salmon usually refers to farmed salmon - can be oily and fishy etc even when fresh. Its from what they're fed.

Good fish should taste like the sea

Might have to ask about it before I order it OR as I am good friends with the owners - rewuest a sampler

Yes sampler is a good plan, or a starter.
Or if you are with someone who likes salmon, then ask for a bite of their plate
I like salmon, esp smoked
