Smoking Turkey: oak or hickory?

Oak would be my choice although I have had the hickory and I have to say it was really good. Hate to sit on the fence on this one but both of them are good! Have you experimented with any other types of wood?
 
Hickory, no doubt about it. But then I am not a big fan of oak. The only woods I smoke with are apple, hickory, and mesquite. I've even been known to mix apple and mesquite when cooking ribs but turkey or chicken are always hickory or mesquite.

Have you ever tried any type of liquid smoke product? When the weather will not cooperate with your cooking schedule the liquid products work like a charm :D
