March 17th is St Patrick's Day. Will you be celebrating? Tell us what you will be cooking, eating or drinking.

We never really do, which strikes me a little odd, because I'll usually find any reason to do up a themed meal like that. Maybe I'll have to do a little research.

In the UK, aside from the Irish, its not really celebrated but I know its quite bog in the USA.

I do like a pint of Guinness so I may make a Guinness beef stew to go with it.

A pint of Guinness is ideal when you are down in the bog warming your feet (my apologies to Ian Anderson).

I'll be making Irish potato pancakes tomorrow, so that they'll be ready on the 17th for me to post the recipe.

I will also do something with lamb offal, not sure what. But I picked up half a lamb last Wednesday from my pastured farmer, and it came with a heart and two kidneys (I guess whomever got the other half didn't want the other kidney...)

We normally go to the pub and celebrate cheap drinks, lol.
BUT the talk is pubs and restaurants may be shut down later today??????
I'm not bothered.
