Most of us would know about cheese-flavored crusts to go with apple pie, although I personally prefer it very sharp and ground up crusty or crispy rather than a runny cheese melted on top.
I recently read of a strawberry pie recipe that had a thyme crust.
What other special flavored crusts do you know, that go surprisingly well with fruity filling or any sweet filling?
