Tamarind cake?

So down under in ozzy they have a cooking competition with couples cooking . My kitchen rules.. SatNavSaysStraightOn should know about it??
So last night a couple made a tamarind cake with a big block of tamarind the same stuff I used to get
Has anyone tried a cake with this??

Yeah, I don't like MKR, it seems to being out the worst in people.

But tamarind cake sounds like something I might have to investigate.

I took a look at the recipe - interesting, but it would be impossible to make here. No white soy , no palm sugar (curious, because we've got loads of palms here) and no pandan leaves.

I've not seen white soy sauce either

it can be found here in the UK. At varying prices. The cheapest I found was here:
