My wife is affectionately called the kommandant. So anyone that knows know I dont use air fryers. Then about 4 months ago my wife got one via a website. She said it's for me..I said I dont want it so its been sitting in a cupboard somewhere. I was marinating lamb steaks earlier. Then an hour ago I see the airfrier on.the bench. She said I'm doing the veges in it tonight . So I've left her to it.
We may or may not be eating later???
I'm.picking inwill have to rescue tea. She doesn't cook at all
Maybe 1 to 2 meals a year.
I will report back my findings.

Fingers crossed, although it doesn't sound promising 😆

Maybe have a watch of this (if you can in NZ), it will likely change your mind about them once you hear the interesting history and get to grips with the idea this delivers heat in a different way to an oven to give different results.

They are much maligned but it's no different to using a pizza oven or a tagine or a tandoor oven. Different types of heat delivered differently give different results. Might be a nice string to your bow?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0... surprising, marvel that is redefining cooking.

Pumpkin was not cooked. Carrots were not cooked. Potatoes were ok. She has a lot to learn..my lamb steaks and peppercorn sauce were superb. :)

Funny, over on another forum, there’s this NZ woman whose forum name is TheKommandat saying supper last night featured her crisp-tender vegetables, though the lamb her husband made was tough!

It's an entertaining TV programme, no reading required 😊
