"A whiskey uprising is happening across Ireland in 2017 and J.J. Coppinger's, Midleton is here to help tell the authentic story of Irish Whiskey. And there's no better man to toast the year ahead than the Midleton-born General himself, who witnessed first-hand the epic role whiskey played in The American Civil War. The Whiskey Rebellion is a ticketed event that will feature a whiskey-tasting session, a talk and demo on the ancient craft of cooperage, demonstrated by Master Cooper Ger Buckley, and live music by Jackdaw Sessions. Guests will be treated to one whiskey drink special each on the house, while Whiskey Academy-trained bartenders will be providing a special whiskey-themed cocktail menu on the night. Be part of the rebellion in collaboration with the world's largest Irish whiskey distiller, Irish Distillers, located in beautiful Midleton. It's an event not to be missed.
