Tomatillos

They are part of the "nightshade" family, but are they closer related to tomatoes or gooseberries? Love making salsa with them.

They're grown locally and in season I take advantage and make different salsas, chutneys and a ketchup. They're kind of a rare commodity in Canada but are getting more recognition and used more and why farmers are producing them here, a good thing. Cheers
