Ciao,

I make few torta this is close as I come I sometimes make for Ray workmen on the site. They love. Warning to Donna this is not if you on diet!

You need -
Slice chicken cooked breasts,
3 - 4 oblong Pizza dough.
Butter.
Tarragon.
Smoked cheeses any is good.
Leek.
Whit wine.
Cream.


Method -
  1. Take large Lasagne dish and put butter inside.
  2. Roll Pizza dough to 1 cm thick.
  3. Put first sheet in dish.
  4. Make sauce with white wine, cream and Tarragon. Sauce need to be very heavy.
  5. Heat butter inside pan the pour over first layer dough.
  6. Put slice chicken inside dish on dough.
  7. Add cheese on top.
  8. Add ladle sauce,
  9. Repeat layer until last layer add warm butter to each.
  10. Slice leeks thin an long.
  11. Put leeks inside then add rest of sauce and cheese put inside last Pizza dough.
  12. Cover tight with foil and cook for 20 minute.
  13. Cover and leave cool.
This I slice with a salad and sometime pickle.

Torta has different meanings in different countries. In Mexico it is a sandwich.
 
Torte also means a layered cake.

Since I do all the cooking, that must mean I'm practicing some form of, erm, self-love... :whistling:

Well, my wife is rather curvy, so maybe we just need to flip that around. :)
