Tower on half price

I've used a tower brand pressure cooker before. All I can say is that you get what you pay for. If you don't pressure foods alot and only need it every now and then this would be perfect for you. Its lightweight and cheap was what I thought when i got it. So just a warning for you.

I bought a Tower Pressure cooker a few years ago (the third in a line of well-used ones!). That was also half price in one of our local department stores (about £18 at the time). Used to use it for stews, curries, gulasch, pickles and chutneys. Unfortunately it is now sitting in the back of a cupboard as I can't use it on my new hob. The cookery books I have collected with them are very good, and the recipes ideal for use in a slow cooker, the only problem being that I have to cook stuff overnight instead of in minutes ..... :(
