On the jewish Passover, I cannot have Truvia, but can have Xylitol.
Truvia is meant to be 3 times sweeter than sugar. Xylitol is meant to be as sweet as sugar.
In my chocolate quinoa recipe, should I substitute 3 tbsp of Xylitol for 1 tbsp of Truvia or would this cause other effects?
I add the Truvia right at the end of the cooking as the flavour seems to diminish if I add it with the milk.

I'd probably add twice the quantity and then taste it. That way you can decide if the taste is developing in the manner you like or can accommodate.

Could you just return to an OU P certified honey or use a date syrup/grape molasses for Passover?

Is your Xylitol OU P certified? source Passover Product Information

Thanks. I got the Xylitol at a kosher shop, so I'm assuming its certified by some authority.
I was told that Truvia is kitniyot for Passover.
I look at Kashrut.com

From what little I know (my step brother's ex partner & his 2 daughters, plus her 5 sisters etc are all Jewish), there are 2 levels of certification. Certified Kosher (OU) and certified Kosher for Passover (OU P). So whilst it may be fine normally, it may not be during Passover. It's why things like maple syrup needs to be certified because it can be contaminated with corn syrup (to make the product cheaper etc)

Xylitol appears to be Kosher but not Kosher for Passover from what I can tell, unless it it a specific brand...

I had the Xylitol and couldn't detect any aftertaste. I'd say it has the same flavour as sugar.
