Well only have the next two days sorted.
Chicken pasta bake from bbcgoodfood.
Garlic butter steak bites from jocooks. The next two days after that will be leftovers as on late shift.

Not a weekly plan so much, but I was just in the freezer and found a couple of things I'd like to use up, so I'll be making two favorites, skillet spaghetti and pork-and-apple pie.

Tonight - pasta with tomatoes, olives & salami

Sunday - beef burgundy w/ steamed green beans & herbed popovers
Monday - leftovers
Tuesday - chicken in Somerset sauce & roasted potatoes (using Windigo's recipe)
Wednesday - leftovers
Thursday - Ham steak w/ egg & fries (freezer meal)
Friday - pizza & green salad

Christmas pud & rum butter for dessert (finally getting around to that)

So I did it again. I had an ulterior motive, to ask YOU what you rhink of it. If you were institutionalised what would you think of this menu, having to eat it ?

T

That looks pretty good to me. It's better than what I normally eat, and much greater variety.

I love this thread. It's going to serve as a confessional for me to share how I eat in a day. I record everything I eat in the Weight Watchers app, so I have a record of everything. Most people would find my eating habits strange: I eat breakfast some days, but only when I'm hungry. Sometimes, I have a big lunch and skip dinner. It seems strange, but it works for me: I've maintained my weight after losing 20 pounds 4 years ago.

I will record my week's worth of food, but it will take some time to transcribe.

I can't do it either. I've no idea real what I will cook tomorrow except that it may include prawns.
I hear that. I usually decide the day of or maybe the day before unless I am making a pot of pasta sauce because I cook that in my crockpot and usually start it several days ahead of time.

I am making a pot of sauce for pasta for Sunday dinner in my crockpot (AKA slowcooker). I put the steak and lamb bones (with still a good bit of meat attached) in yesterday and cooked them overnight, then took the bare bones out this morning. I just added the tomato sauce and tomorrow I will add pork and ground beef, then fresh herbs about an hour before serving on Sunday.

I used to make a weekly menu, I posted it on here. But as y'all might have noticed, I don't post my food every day anymore because there are more days I am physically unable to cook. So we rely on things like instant noodles or whatever the deli section of the butcher's has a bit more. I'm thinking it will stay that way until I get treatment.
So I am not making a menu anymore, but just buy staples we usually eat and go from there. I buy what I need on the day itself if I need anything extra to cook.
