Well Easter is quickly approaching so its time to get the hot cross buns perfected!

I dont use mixed peel as a lot of my family dont like it, so instead i use a marmalade glaze in place of your standard bun wash.

Of course you then need to toast them and put a disgusting amount of butter on them!

Beautiful! I haven't made any for several years now.... searched the forum at it seems its 2017 since I last made them!

Well its on Sunday... but which of the 52 Sundays a year im not sure!

I just have hot cross buns every weekend as soon as I see chocolate eggs popping up in shops, that way i know im covered.

Easter Sunday is April 4th this year.

I need to go to Wendy's and get a fish sandwich tomorrow. Fridays during lent are the best time to get fast food fish sandwiches for lunch. They sell so many of them, that you can pretty much always get a fish patty fresh from the fryer.
