What produce/ingredients did you buy or obtain today (2026)?

On the flipside to my expensive dinner last night, I managed to score 20 lbs of chicken wings for just $1 / lb the other day and 6 dozen eggs for $0.67 / dozen. I vac-seal and freeze the wings in 5 lb bags, which gives me 24 to 30 drums and flats when I'm ready to make them. Then I re-freeze the wing tips to later make stock.
 
I can't believe I found this at our local Walmart

and at more than halff off what I've paid on line or even at the Asian Market in The Big City!!
NOW!
Fingers crossed that they do not discontinue my favorite Furikake, see the "rollback" sign?

DH had broken one of these bottles not longer after we got back to Arizona.
He was so upset with himself, because he had broken another one of my OG Aloha Shoyu dispensers and he knows how much they mean to me.
Well, I had to remind him that I have THREE of these ☝️ commemorative bottles.

Change of plans here. I forgot we had the American Music Awards tonight, so dinner was catered at work. There was the usual shoe leather sliced london broil and greasy potato wedges, but I managed to have a pretty decent Greek salad with a lot of olives, and very good coconut shrimp, and garlic bread.
