Halibut is expensive here too, especially fresh, never frozen. This was a high-faluten place in a ritzy part of town. The person we heard about it from is a chef on a yacht and this place also does yacht provisioning. They had hand picked jumbo lump crab meat, never frozen or pasteurized at $33 or $34 a pound. Our lunch was $61 including just over 20% tip for 8 oysters, 1 ceaser salad, the conch fritters and cracked conch. Fried Ipswich clams, 8 oz/half a pound, were over $30. Craig thought about that, but decided to pass.I hope the halibut was more reasonable. Its very expensive here.
