What type of tomatoes do you prefer?

I love tomatoes, and my favourites are vine tomatoes, although I also enjoy a nice cherry tomato. I can quite happily tuck into a plate of sliced tomatoes and red onion, with a sprinkling of black pepper and balsamic vinegar.

What about you? What tomatoes do you prefer for cooking and/or eating?
