My kid was home from college yesterday and had watched the mini-series, "Chernobyl", recently, which he said was great and wanted us to watch. It was a little chilly out anyway, so we all binged watched the whole thing. I read the producers took some artistic liberties, but the set/scenery, the actual failure mechanisms, and the outfall were apparently very accurate. Very interesting and eye-opening, and of course sad. Good mini-series.

I was a kid and remember everyone wondering how far the radiation might drift. There was gross negligence at every level, apparently, that culminated in the worst possible decisions and sequence of events. The last (5th) "courtroom" episode lays it out extremely well in simple terms that anyone can understand.

We remember the destruction of the Star Wars franchise here in the US on May the 4th.
 
Watched The King and I on TCM earlier. Watching Disney movies on Freeform Moana, Freaky Friday and The Parent Trap (both of the Lindsay Lohan versions).
