Kind of a desert bourbon. Needs ice to tone down the sweetness

Nicely spiced, like a dessert. But, full of character. Flanked by FDR on the can and an aluminum 50th anniversary end of WW II mug. I’m drinking out of the glass because it doesn’t foam up as much.

This is an Angry Orchard glass, but the tangled branches make me think of the forest in the Wizard of Oz. Somehow, that seemed appropriate.

I have been on a Moscow Mule kick.

1/4 oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
2 oz. Vodka
2 1/2 oz. Ginger Beer
over ice
a gentle stir

Best served in a copper mug

Ginger Beer of choice - Fever Tree. Very ginger forward.

G calls it a sneaky drink. It is so refreshing that the alcohol sneaks up on you.
Imbibe with caution.

I bought a set of Moscow Mule mugs recently. They look like this:

Note that the greenery in the background is a giveaway that this isn't a picture of my house (i.e., the plants are alive).

Lol, I don't do caution. :)
