I'm from Jamaica, so my favorite Jamaican dish would be jerk pork or corned pork with ackee (this is a fruit was originally found growing in West Africa). Interestingly enough, the Jamaican national dish is ackee and saltfish. In fact, I have many favorite Jamaican dishes such as: Jamaican french fried chicken with rice and peas, brown stewed oxtail and beans, red peas soup with pig's tail, stewed peas with pig's tail and salt beef, jerk chicken, steam fish and steamed water crackers with white and curried mutton (goat) or chicken and white rice. What's your favorite Caribbean dish?

I am from Jamaica as well and my absolute favourite dish has to be curry goat (mutton). I use to also love really love oxtail but as much as I did then. And yes, being Jamaica I love my spices and my pepper so I really like my curry goat to have lots of pepper.
