I was wondering if anyone has had the chance or has heard about windowfarms. I guess its a product, or company that you buy a kit from them and set it up at a window that gets a few hours of sunlight a day and boom...fresh produce. I heard about them a few years ago, but since I have been moving around everywhere I haven't had the time to really test this out. I think the idea is great and would love to get started. Do you guys have any tips?
I also know they offer a free pdf of how to make your own without all their equipment and just things you can find at local stores. I personally like the design and color of their product but I think it is a great idea especially because of the good feeling you'd get growing your own produce year round.
