I'm eating a lot more yogurt lately and need more ways than by itself or with fruit. I use it to sub for sour cream and make tzatziki sauce and that's about it. I got some Greek yogurt today and that's good for a texture change!

How else do y'all eat it or use it in recipes?

I usually buy thick 0%fat Greek and make my own from regular milk.

Used a lot in South Asian (Indian subcontinent) dishes for main courses as well as side dishes, drinks and much more.
karadekoolaid probably has a gazillion great suggestions and sources.

Also used a lot in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean dishes.

Makes a great marinade for just about anything - meat, fish, veg - add herbs, spices etc accordingly. Classic marinade for tandoori chicken for e.g. recipe from Madhur Jaffrey.

Makes great ice cream of course, and for those with no sweet tooth, frozen fruit zapped with yogurt no sugar is super healthy and quick. Frozen smoothie. Pretty good with veg too.

When you make it is it as thick as the Greek yogurt or do you strain it?

No, much more watery - greek yogurt is after it's strained - I like to line a colander with cheese cloth - or those white flour sacks work too.
Longer you drain it the thick and more cheese like it becomes

Raits, tzatziki, tandoori chicken, garlic sauce....
I use it in curries as well, esp if they turned out too hot ;)
I use it more to cook with than to eat as is. You can use it instead of coconut milk. Will be a different taste obviously, but it generally works.
And yoghurt dough...
