Indeed it was! And great place to take hikes. I took a bit of the Luggard Road trail on that day, I arrived too early so went to explore the area. I also did the Dragon's Back trail some days later.

We did the touristy gondola ride, 10 mins into it I wondered why I put myself through, I'm scared of heights. The whole ride was motionless white knuckle ride. Never again.

You mean the car cable? Or the gondola between Hong Kong and Kowloon island?

Car cable, man it's high. We took the ferry to Macau for a few days for a visit and the casinos.

Yes I took the car cable too and I'm scared of heights, I asked a guy in the cable car to take a pic of me and you can tell I'm terrified lol. Went to Macau as well but only for a day, didn't play the casinos though.

I spent most of the ride staring at the floor, not keen on heights either.

This was the motorway bridge that I struggled to drive over when I had vertigo. Ordinarily, I don't have a problem with heights (acrophobia). at all. It's 110m high and 500m long.

That's me exactly, telling my wife not to move,lol. We also have a gondola in Queenstown, when the kids were young we took them up. When they saw how scared I was they started rocking the car. I came down on my own in a separate one. Yet I love flying!

A friend of mine is a B.A. 747 Captain. He has vertigo but it only affects him when he's on the tarmac.

Standing in a queue outside the bank today I was looking round and noticed the building opposite.
