The Sabitini Gardens a few metres from the Palace, and Cathedral Almudena in The Madrid Capital, in the Operá Neighborhood.

This is such a beautiful garden .. And sitting, at the open air café, Café Oriente, one can see the Gardens, the Statues, the Cathedral and The Palace. It is one of my favorite car free spots in the Madrid Capital ..

Lovely, @morning glory! If you squint up your eyes, this could almost pass for an impressionistic painting. I bet this would translate nicely to a watercolor, or pastel chalk drawing.

Thank you both. I'd make a bright gouache rendition of this if I translated it into a painting - but I haven't painted for many years (although that is how I started out as a student). I'm a bit out of practice on that front! But, I'm very impressed by the Samsung Galaxy S7 camera. This is the first time I used it for landscape. It eclipses my Pentax digital camera on quite a lot of fronts. Although, for portraits its not so good due to the lens distortion.

This one is Syd (by the way, the other one was sunbathing, she wasn't dead! Just exceptionally good at giving you a heart attack!). Syd has a hair do problem and has had for quite some time!

OK the blue ikea kids cup in the background is a little out of place, but can't win them all...
