They are beautiful to look at and I like the idea of someone living there. Houseboats have always intrigued me. Amsterdam is full of them.

Sunset and a light drizzle yesterday evening.

We arrived in Yyteri (a seaside/beachfront near Pori in Western Finland) yesterday. The weather is a bit chilly (+18-20°C) and windy but it should warm up and calm down later this week. Hubby and our daughter are enjoying the local birdwatching sites, our older one is working remotely and I just laze in our rental cottage.

Funny thing is I could be in London in just under an hour on a train from here but I haven't been for over a decade. I lived in London for a good part of my life so know parts of it really well (the good, the bad and the ugly). Now I have no desire to return. I really can't bear the crowds.
