We have found it very difficult to find a really good meat board. We let our meat rest which means there are juices that collect in the ridge of the board. Most of the boards we have seen have very shallow ridges which result in the juices spilling onto the worktop.

We lamented this issue last year with a couple of really good friends. We met up at Christmas last year and they presented us with a board made by their own fair hands. We used it today to rest the lamb after it had been on the bbq, the ridge is so deep that the juices pooled and didn't spill out. Awesome gift from 2 amazing people.
