Hey all, I’m just new here and have my first question.
I pride myself on my Aglio e Olio, and have just begun making fresh Pasta, but now (with said fresh Pasta) the recipe seems dull and lacks flavor, even with added garlic and salt and pepper. Any suggestions out there?

Ciao e Benvenuto,
This depend how make the pasta. I make lot of fresh pasta, I use many thing, walnut flour, chestnut flour, I some put fresh herbs in dough some time even cheese. If want very rich pasta I use duck egg.

Re your question. Its difficult to know why your tried and tested recipe should taste so different with home-made pasta. As Saranak says, it has to be down to the pasta itself. Perhaps it would help if you told us how you made the pasta.
