OK - another random posting... :D
I have been browsing the internet learning about sourdoughs and various other clicked on this link to follow through to another page and before you know it.... well you know how it is. I'm still confined to bed and reading material and I have come across Black Bread and was wondering what others understood this to be because the recipes I am seeing quite often seem to involved cocoa or chocolate and coffee powder!

Now I am more than familiar with rye breads and lived off them when I lived in Germany and lived off them when I was on tour and still love them now (even though the UK ones are nowhere near as good, sorry they just are not). And I have even travelled to Russia, but I have not come across the term Black Bread before and certainly not with the lists of ingredients I am seeing!

This one looks wonderful and should not be too difficult to make vegan
