This is: Pedro Sánchez ..

Catalan Caganers pronounced ke ye ne, are figurines depicted in the act of defectation, and are placed in our Nativity Scenes in Southern France, Catalonia, Andorra, Naples, Murcia and Valencia, Gerona, Lerida and Castellon.

The Name El Caganer literally signifies, "the crapper" or the defecator. Traditionally, these figurines feature a peasant farmer or shepherd wearing a traditional Catalan Red Cap called a Barretina and with his trousers down, showing a bare backside and defecating.

The Origins of these figures date back to the mid 1700s according to the Institut d´Estudis Catalans.

The significance of this tradition is that by creating poo pourri, they are fertilising the earth.

To date, they have also come to present a spoof on politicians .. And former leaders .. And moreover, they represent good luck as they used to be placed near the fireplace .. Now they are placed alongside of the Nativity ..
