Cloudy Countertops?

It was recommended by the counter people to use this to seal my countertops once a year and Its that time, however my countertops seem cloudy. Is this normal?

I can't really get an accurate Pic of my countertops, they look good in the Pic, but cloudy in person.

Puggles when we had granite countertops, our guy recommended a prep solution first, then to seal it. And yes, it would get "cloudy" over time, I think that was soap build up, because we were told to use hot soapy water for routine wipe downs.
