Dirty Shrimp in Butter-Beer Sauce
serves 4
2 lbs. shrimp, shelled and deveined
4 TB. butter
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. cayenne
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup beer
Saute garlic and herbs in butter until garlic is slightly browned. Add salt and peppers. Add shrimp, stirring until pink and done. Pour in beer, simmer 1 minute.
