At first, I thought this was a bit of a superficial question, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized, I rely on my oven light quite a bit.
Mainly, it lets me monitor what I'm baking, so I can tell right off whether my bread has had that oven spring, or how the top of my pizza is browning.
Besides that, though, I'll use it just to keep a little light on in the kitchen at night when on the other lights are out. Just enough light to get a cup of tea by.
