More good news for wine drinkers! Italian researchers have discovered that women who consume as little as one glass of wine a day have higher blood levels of the omega-3 fats found in fish such as trout, salmon and sardines. According to this report combining certain food together increases the uptake of important nutrients. Some of the combinations seem quite natural; tomatoes and olive oil, for example. Do you eat any of these combinations?

I never consume a dish of pasta with bread, too many carbohydrates and sugars together and so cream or butter with various meats, eggs, dry fruit, cheese.
Perfect combo as reported in the article, tomatoes and olive oil (maybe with pasta) and a glass of red wine, or fruit in the salad.

Quite a few of those..
  • Blackberries and raspberries
  • Porridge and (any fruit if you read the article carefully) blueberries
  • Eggs and broccoli
  • I used to eat sprouts with butter before the allergy developed
  • ...

I don't remember @SatNavSaysStraightOn, are you allergic to butter?
I also use to eat sprouts but preferring Evoo instead of butter..

Does this mean that my wife is about to turn into a fish?

I also use to eat sprouts but preferring Evoo instead of butter..
Not just butter but all dairy from any source (cow, sheep, goat, camel, buffalo...) in allergic to a protein in the dairy. But I used to be able to consume dairy in my childhood. Something changed at the end of my teenage years.
