At my house if they don't get eaten the next day they are thrown out. It all depends on what it is but for the most part I am not a big fan of leftovers. If I don't eat it the day that I cook it then I usually don't eat it the next day. I try not to overcook so that I don't have a lot of waste. It really bothers me to throw food out when I know there are so many out there who are starving and would give anything for a home cooked meal or any meal for that matter.
