growing up mum cooked the hell out of everything. I grew up with well done meats. I didn't eat steaks until I started working. I was a dad at 17 and working 2 jobs but the one thing I did do after I had set up our flat with furniture was we would always go out for dinner on a Sunday night. I worked hard and earnt good money so we had a fave restaurant, ( I'd never been in one ) until around 18 or 19. First time I ordered a porterhouse steak I was asked ? How would you like your steak sir? I think I replied just average. I didn't know the different times on cooking. As I've got older and communication and cooking programmes on tv we learn more. My kids were raised with steaks and we are all different
Me. Blue
Wife. Well done
Son. Blue
Daughter med rare.

I used to get my steak with a steak Dianne sauce. I've replicated it almost to the t. I still make the sauce for all my kids freezers.

How do you have yours??
