My Grandma used to say it was her "lucky" day. I think she was trying to reinforce to us kids that Friday 13th wasn't a big deal.

No big deal to me but my neighbour doesn’t like to leave the house. He normally drives my partner to collect our online grocery order but yesterday I placed a very small order for late pick up and collected it on my way home from work.

I don't believe in any of the superstitions, except for "it's bad luck to walk under a ladder" that's just plain health & safety advice, you don't know what the idiot above you is about to drop.
