I came across this recipe today. It's something different to do with blackberries - when the promised glut eventually comes.

NT does something similar and simple with buns. Just make up a standard plan sponge fairy cake mix. Half fill your paper cake cases, push two or three blackberries (or raspberries, or blueberries, or redcurrants) into the mix, then fill the cases and push a couple more fruit into each. Bake as normal. Result, little individual buns with fruity bits inside!

Those look so good. I would also recommend using pie fillings for muffins. Those end up tasting amazing. I like the idea of using whole raspberries and blackberries in a muffin. I am going to try these out this weekend. Thanks for the tip.
