When I was building my drum, the foreman, all 5'6" of him, ordered 1800 x 700 mm door frames for the bathrooms. All the other door frames in the house cater for 2000 x 800 mm doors (why they should be different I don't know). However, as I'm 1920 mm tall I told him to take them back and exchange them for 2000 mm frames. Which he did.

When it came to obtaining the doors, Thai bathrooms generally have plastic doors but I wanted wooden doors throughout the house. Then came the problem. Wooden doors, 2000 x 700 mm are none standard so I had to have specials made for the bathrooms.

Maybe I'll regret asking this - but what is the gadget attached to the toilet for?
Looks like a bidet seat to me. Device that washes and dries your bum after you use the toilet.

I LOVE mine. We cut way down on the amount of TP we have to use (especially handy during the TP-hoarding phase of the pandemic), so it’s better for the environment. It’s also just much cleaner - you get so much cleaner with a water spray than wiping with paper.

Whenever I visit somewhere without a bidet, I really miss mine. It makes a huge difference!
